MILTON RAILWAY STATION.
TO TUI? EDITOR. Sm,- -I beg to draw the attention of (he Railway Department to the lighting arrangements at Milton station. Along with other passengers I consider they are a standing disgrace. Dining Show Week traffic was very heavy and trains were very long, anti, since there is only room at the platform for about 10 cars at tho most, several cars are right away from the platform—in fact, past the signal box. Passongers from there arc forced to alight in pi ten darkness and grope their way up to the platform which ia also, to say tHe least, very poorly lighted. The same complaint aplies also in (he case of north-bound trains which often pull up past tho platform; passengers being compelled to lind their way to tho platform between water tanka and trains. 1 notice that tho refreshment room* on the station arc lighted by electric light while the platform and buildings are lighted by gas and lamps. Surely it ia time something was done at this station to improve the lighting, and jt is to bo hoped that in the interests of the traveling public that this will he at- *• tended to before a serious accident happens. — I am, etc.. More Light,
