ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
TAHITI PLANTER’S DEATH. {Pbb United Press Association.) MARTON. April 1. Arthur Dinham Shilson, aged 57. a Tahiti planter, was found in a state of collapse in a sleeper when the Main Trunk express arrived this morning. Ho died jdiortly afterwards. DEATH AT HOSPITAL. George Parson Aliller, 69 years of age, expired suddenly at the Hospital yesterday. Ho had been attended by a medical maa for injury received through jumping off a moving tramcar at the Gardens on March 23, and was sent to the Hospital. Ho was a shearer by occupation, and rcj aided at 59 Melville street. When admitted to the Hospital it was thought that he t- was suffering from a fracture of the neck, which an a man of his advanced years was more than usually serious. The matter has been reported to the coroner, and evidence as to identification will be taken at the Bospital at 11.30 this morning. KNOCKED DOWN BY AIOTOR CARA A man while crossing fowling street yesterday was knocked down by a passing motor car, and dragged a few feet before the brakes brought the car to a standstill. He sustained minor injuries to &is face.
