LAND VALUERS.
AN ASSOCIATION FORMED. Vea United Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH. November 2. .At a meeting of land valuators and'representatives of financial houses from all parts of tho North Island last night, it was decided to form a Land Valuers’ Association for tho North Island. ‘The districts represented were: Auckland, Taranaki. Hawke’s Bay, Wairarapa, Manawatu, Wellington, Rangitikei, and Wanganui. Last year a preliminary meeting was held, and an executive was set up to make a report, and the outcome was that this association was formed. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr 0. Monrad (Palmerston North); vice-president, Mr J. B. .Richards (Stratford); committee —Messrs F, Allen. (Wanganui). F. R. H. Bryce (Marton). N. Gorton (Feilding), and F. S. M'Rae (Palmerston North). Two more will be added by the committee. Secretary and treasurer, Mr J. H. Dick (Palmerston North).
