THE WEATHER
Changeable again prevailed yesterday, when heavy rain fell in the early morning. The weather continued showery during the day, with intervals of sunshine, but a strong south-west wind which blew ’ till the evening was most unpleasant. The evening, though somewhat cold, remained fine. (From Oxjb Own Cobkkspondent.) HAKATARAMEA, January 9. The rainfall registered here for the month of December, 1922. was 516 points. Rain fell on 13 days, the highest fall occurring on December 12. 161 points being registered. The year’s aggregate reads 19.60 inches against 19.58 for 1921.
