DOMINION TOURNAMENT. CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES. (Pek United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 11. The dominion bowling tournament was continued to-day in fine weather and on perfect greens. The best game of the day was between Maxwell Walker (Ponsonby) and G. Crowley (Taurangal. The latter — a young player, gave a good exhibition against his more experienced opponent, who was playing at the top of his form. In the afternoon the president’s at home took place, when Lord and Lady Jellicoe were present. The Governor-General, as patron, was presented with the association’s gold badge. Five bounds in the singjes were played to-day, making 10 game® in all. Maxwell Walker (Ponsonby) has won all 10 games. The following had one loss,:—Jury (Ponsonby), Pilkington (Hamilton), Brookfield (St. Heliers), Clarko (Rocky Nook). The semi-finals and finals will be played later. BALMACEWEN v. ROSLYN.
