PRINCESS THEATRE
A successful week has been experienced at tho Princess Theatre, the programme being one of exceptional merit. Potter and Hartwell are still keeping the audience in a highly amused state of mind, and in their varied entertainment, all of which is clever, make a complete success of the brief period they are on tho stage. Lota Stantoune’s violin playing is quite a feature of tho programme, and the better attuned in music do not fail to recognise her merits as a musician. The pair of clever artists, Beresford and Rennie meet with as warm a welcome as anyone in their sketchy-musical turn; and Slavin and Thompson manufacture & mass of amusing matter that always means merriment. Chas. Lawrence's exertions at the wicket seems to have done him good; good as he waa. Ho considerably strengthens the present company. The ban joist. Woy, though he has hod a fairly long “spin” here/ is as popular as ever and bids fair to remain m high favour for an indefinite period; There are also the Malagas, Croydon and Mack, and Shipp and Kenny.
