George Bowden, a young nrian, who said ha h a( j arrived from Australia a few months • ago’ was to-day committed for trial on a charge of breaking and entering the pre- {■' miees of Blyth, a jeweller, at Petono, .and f stealing 20 rings valued at £l4O. The '■-•offences Were alleged to have.been comv-‘ nitted last month. The evidence waa that i from what Pierre Kugener a, brother-m----1 law of the accused, had said, a search was made under the house where accused was • • staving, when a number of rings wrapped in paper were found.
