PANTRY BOY CHARGED WITH MURDER. A SIGNED CONFESSION. Picas Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 21. Jacobi, aged 18, a pantry boy at the Spencer Hotel, where Lady White was murdered, has been charged with the murder. The police gave evidence that Jacobi signed a confession, in which he stated: “I hit her on the head with a workman’s hammer.”—A. and N.Z. Cable.
