CIVIL AVIATION

GERMAN TRANSPORT COMPANIES. Preei Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, March 21. (Received March 22, at 9.35 p.m.) Seven Genpan air transport companies flew 1,650,000 kilometres during 1921, carrying 6820 passengers. The fares were approximately equal to that charged for first-class railway travelling. The German aerial travel system in 1922 will be more extensive than in any other country, but it is regretted that it is still impossible to link up with the services of the Allied countries.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
