ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
(Fib TJnitbo Pbkss Association.) WELLINGTON, January 26. Stephen Ward, aged 74, employed on tho •waterfront, was seriously injured through being crushed by a bale of wool, and died in the hospital. Deceased, with others, was working in a wool shed when the bale became dislodged and fell some distance. Ward was badly crushed, and he sustained a broken leg and other injuries.
