A story which for years hag appealed to young and old—J. Fontmorfi Cooper’s powerful tale, “The Last of the Mohicans” —is at present heading the programme at tho Queen’s Theatre, and is attracting largo audiences. The story was produced by Maurice Tourneur, and this is a guarantee of good work. The picture is an exciting one, and deals with the inter-tribal warfare among tho Red Indians in the early days of colonisation. Supports include tho latest Pathe Gazette, and a 2000 ft Christie comedy, entitled “Seaside Siren.” Incidental music is provided by Madame Roggiardo’s orchestra. “Tho Palace of Darkened Windows,” a romance of \Jho East, is attracting considerable attention at the Octagon Theatre, where it holds pride of place on a good programme.
