MR WATTS PROPOSAL NEGATIVED. Presa Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, January 25. 'At a conference of New South Wales, Victorian, and South Australian members of the House of Representatives the delegates strongly opposed Mr Watt's proposal to control State borrowing, the delegates stating that the States would not give up the rygat of obtaining money_ locally.
