AIR TRAFFIC
ROUTES THROUGHOUT THE EMPIRE.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 23. Str Thomas Mackenzie, Sir Peter M'Bride (Victorian Agent-general), Sir Thomas Robinson (Queensland Agent- ' general), Sir John JrCafl (Tasmanian Agent-general), and General Birdwood attended the Imperial Fleets' Committee's dinner for the celebration of the Empire's | victory. Major-general Seely, president of the I Air Board, in his speech promised on beI half of tho Air Council an effort to advance air traffic. It was anticipated that great air routes to every part of the Empire would be established within the life of nearly all of those present. He hoped that the dominions, in forming their own air, service, would co-operate with the British, and so have one great, air fleet, as we had one great fleet at eea. General Birdwood said that if the war had lasted a little longer the German towns would" have suffered more than they ever thought possible. Our air force was just getting up to ita real strength when the armistice intervened.—A. and N Z Cable.
