It had been a great sourco of good, and he hoped that it would maintain the high standard which had been attained in tho past. Tho Mayor (Mr J. J. The Kaikorai Church and its minister deserved the highest praise for the high standard of work done by them. To the pioneers who had gone through such self-denial and had raised the standard of the Presbyterian Church they owed a deep debt of gratitude, and he was sure that as long as tho spirit of these early pioneers was with them they would continue to prosper. Though the outlook was gloomy at times, and things did not always go right, better times were in store for them. The Revs. R. E. Davies and J. Kilpatrick also briefly addressed the gathering. During tho evening tho following items were tastefully rendered: —Solos —"The Coming of the King," Mr A.
