ENTERTAINMENT AT CAVERSHAM.
A very successful entertainment -was given ' last night in aid of the Wesley Guild and church funds in tho Public Hull, Caversham. There was a very large attendance and the chair "was occupied by tho Eev. &. 'Griffitih. The entertainment opened with a musical march and a "welcome' chorus by tho performers as a body, and thereafter songs were rendered by Mr H. P. Desmoulins, Miss Phillis West, Mr G. S. Newton, Miss Alma Le Fovto,_ ,Mr W. Saunders, and Mr A. R. Rawlinson. In addition' there was a humorous son£ in costume by some of the youn<r ladies connected with the truild, an amusing dialogue by three youths, an exhibition of clubswingim: by Misses N. Davidson. I. Kennard, C. Hamilton, and G. T/mng; a humorous sketch by Misses V. Milburn and G. Griffith; a scena by Misses G. Yotmg" and N. Davidson; a musical monologue by Mr J. B. M'Connell; and a sketch by Messrs H. White, A. Grimmett, and fivo others, the entertainment concluding with a farewell chonts. Tlie accompanists were Miss Hughes, Miss Ha-wko, and Miss M. Stubbs.
