KNOX CHURCH YOUNG WOMEN'S SOCIETY.

i ANiTOAL SHOW OF DAFFODILS. The annual exhibition of daffodils in connection with the Young "Women's Society of Knox Church was opened yesterday afternoon by Mrs S. M. Park. This year's exhibition reeulted in the bringing forward of a great many very finely grown flowers, which were a silent tribute to the care, attention, industry, and skill of the growers. The exhibition was visited by a very large niiml>er of florists and others, the spectators in the evening fairly well filling Eaiox Church Sunday School Hall, in which the exhibition ■was made. Following is the result of the competitions:—Three blooms yellow trumpet daffodils—Mies Crow 1, M. Sunderland 2. three blooms white trumpet dafiodils—Mass Crow 1 and 2. Three blooms yellow and white trumpet daffodils—M. Sunderland 1, Miss Crow 2. Three blocme Inoomp'*rski\'s trumpet daffodils—Mr Sunderland 1 and 2. Three blooms Barrii daSocSk — Miss Crow 1, Mr Sunderland 2. Three bloome Leedsii daffodils—Mr Sunderland 1 and 2. Three blooms Poeticus daffodils—Mr Sunderland 1. Three blooms Polyanthus narcasai—Mr Sunderland 1. Three blooms double daffodils—Mr Sunderland 1. Three trusses of orange and yellow, and yellow shaded polyanthus primroses—Mrs W. H. Smith 1 and 2.
