ESCAPE FROM CUSTODY
AN HOUR'S FREEDOM.
(Pee United Pbf.ss Association.) AUCKLAND, September 21. Five men accused of committing recent burglaries and one charged with " receiving" were remanded till tomorrow week. Patrick Gunn, one of the five, escaped from tho police station, but was recaptured aftor about an hour's chase. He was hiding under a house near the Domain.
