THE FINAL RALLIES. (Pμ Unitto P»ms AesociJTio*.) GREYMOUTH, May 28. The last shots in the Grey election are being fired to-night, after a, strenuous three weeks' campaign. The supporters of Mr Coates are holding a social in the Town Hall, while at the Opera House a huge labour rally is in progress. On behalf of labour, Messrs Paul, Howard, Fraser, and O'Brien are speaking,while Mr Holland is supported by Mr Walker, M.P., at Reefton. The contest has been fought "in the keenest manner. Mr Holland will have the united support of labour, which'is a big factor in these parts, while Mr Coates looks to the supporters of the National Government. There are prospects of fine weather for election day, and a record poll and a close contest aro expected.
