GENERAL NEWS
The annual social meeting of the North Taieri Presbyterian Church was held on tho 21st inst., and there was a largo gathering-, over which tho Rev. J. Lymburn presided! The chairman welcomed the old friends of tho church, some of whom had come from a distance. Tho programme was of a hi"-h order. The singers were Mrs Munro, Misses Bates. Denford. L. Scott, Swan, and Niven, and Messrs Crutchley, MT>nnan, and Patterson. Mrs Munro. Mrs Livingstone, and Miss Browne, L.T.C.L. played the accom- [ paniments. An address was delivered by 1 tho Rev. D. Calder. describing experiences in homo mission work in his student days. 1 '
