The last two screenings of the beautiful problem play, " Enlighten Thy Daughter." «J? g^'en to " da y tlle Octagon Theatre. The Flames of Chance," the principal dnama of the present series of pictures showing at the Queen's Theatre, is a story of love and war, and thrilling situations abound during the oourse of its screening; but ultimately an atmosphere of happiness and content roigns. Charlie Chaplin appears m a new comedy, called "The Adventurer." and succeeds in causing the greatest amuse- ' and there is also a frosh number of The Neglected Wife" serial. A very interesting story is unfolded in the new picture, entitled "Gates of Gladwhich is being screened at Everybody s Theatre, and is attracting good attendances. The story concerns two families -—two brothers, their wives and children—and tho family differences, particularly those which relate to the domestic life of the parties concerned in it, are of such a nature as to keep the onlooker interested. The supporting pictures are a Topical Budget, a comedy ("Prairie Chicken"), and tho fourteenth episode of " I/ucille Love." The Captain of the Grey Horse Troop" is the title of the chief picture in the programme to be screened at Mosgiel tomorrow night. This film story contains much that is interesting, and is said to easily hold tho attention of patrons from commence- . ment to finish. The tra<gedy of tho passing °f the Red Indian race is a pathetic phase of the picture. Antonio Moreno and Edith Storey are the star artists. Sunncrtino- films include the fifth episode of " Theftron Claw" serial, a Gazette, and a gcenio.
