Attention was drawn to tho absenco of flags at the North Ground in a recent match. —Resolved that the Union Club be asked to see that flags wero provided. 'i'ho following notices of motion to bo dealt with at the New Zealand Rugby Union's annual meeting were considered: — By tho Canterbury Union—" (1) That in future the headquarters of tho New Zealand Rugby Union shall not bo stationary j in Wellington, as at present, 'but 6hall be ! located for a period of,three years in each of the four centres in rotation. The transference of tho headquarters from Wellington to some other oentre to take effect this season. (2) That this meeting of delegates is strongly of the opinion that the New Zealand Rugby Union should have vested in it the right to reinstate any player who may have broken his amateur status by means other than those of accepting monetary payment in connection with the gane; further, it strongly urges the incoming executive to exercise the power of reinstatement during the current season, and to inform the English Union of its intention in the matter." By the Auckland Union —"Tnat- the Hamilton Rugby Union (now attached to the South Auckland Union) bo temporarily merged in 'he Auckland Union until after the war, when the question of the revision of boundaries can be gone into."—lt was decided to leave delegates a free hand with respect to the foregoing, but to recommend them to support Motion 2 by tho Canterbury Union. Saturday's matches resulted as follow: — Kensington drew with Maoandrew Road, neither side scoring; Arthur Street (21 points) beat Albany Street (nil); Port (Thaimers (39 points) beat Musselburgh (nil): Mosgiel (18 points) beat Forbury (nil). OTAGO FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION. The weekly meeting of the. Otago Football Association Executive Committee was held last evening, Mr W. R. Sinclair presided. Mr_G. Ghent (referee) reported that the Maori Hill (Third Grade v team) was 20 minutes late for their match on Saturday, 11th inst. Their explanation was that they had only five players present. The difficulty was that annoyance was caused owing to other teams waiting to take possession of tho ground.—Attention of the club to be drawn to the fact that teams must be on the ground at the advertised time. Mr R. B. Robinson (referee) reported that in the match Green Island v. Old Boys, played at Culling Park on Saturday, ho had ordered off Samson, of Green Island, for dangerous play, and also deliberately kicking an opponent. Ho also reported cautioning Dunwoodie (Green Island) for rough play.-—Samson, Dunwoodie, and the referee to bo asked to attend next week's meeting. Tho following are the matches for Saturday, with referees:— First Grade.—Christian Brothers v. Mornington, Culling Park—Mr M'Callum; Old Boys v. High School, Oval No. I—Mr R. Brown; Maori Hill v. Green Island, Asylum Ground—Major Fleming; Southern v. Northern, Gardens—Mr R. Robinson. Second Grade.—Northern v. Post and Telegraph, Oval No. 2—Mr Beveridge; Mornington v. Southern, Mornington—Mr Ghent 'lhird Grade.—Old Boys v. Northern A, Oval No. 2, 2 p.m. —Mr Beveridge; Mornington v. Maori Hill, Mornington, 2 p.m.— Mr Ghent; Northern B v. Christian Brothers, Oral No. 1, 2 p.m.—Mr Rutherford. Fourth Grade. —High School v. Northern Gardens, 2 pm.-Mr Brundell; Post and Telegraph v. Y.M.C.A.
