ADDRESS ISY MR COATES. (Pu United Puis# Association.) GREYtMOUTH, May 20. Mr T. E. Coatos delivered tho first address in the campaign for the Grey seat 011 Saturday at Barrytown. After stating that ho favoured tho Government's win-the-war efforts and Conscription, ho urged that, all 6inglo eligible men should bo sent before married men. He trenchantly criticised tho Government's homo policy regarding railways and land. Ho favoured tho Government taking over tho Wellington-Lyttel-ton ferry service, in order to terminate tho annoyance and expense of the Union Company's steamers failing to connect at Lyttelton with tho West Coast express.
