The report was adopted. Mr Fraser moved tie adoption of the balance sheet.

Mr Black, in ; seconding the motion, said that for the three years prior to the war their income from three sources was £1867, and their expenditure £2078. Since the war their income was £1828, and their expenditure £1797.' Th-.s was surely a testimony to the Rev. Mr Dixon's ministry at the church, and it was without 'parallel in the history of the church.—(Applause.) The balance sheet was adopted. It was resolved (the members standing) to erect a marble tablet in the church in memory of the late Rev. James Chisholm, the first minister of the church. The congregation, in addition, will combine with the Milton Presbyterian Church in placing a headstone over the gravo of their late minister.

Dm rag the evening the chairman presented Mrs Kerr, Miss Agnes Vernon, and Mr Crawford with diplomas from the General Assembly in commemoration of their 25 years' service in the Sabbath school as teachers.

At the conclusion of the business some time was spent in social intercourse, and a very fine musical programme was rendered by the choir and merribers of the congregation. The Rev. W. Trotter delivered a brief but interesting address on the subject of "Christian Liberality."
