The Board of Trade estimate of prices in big towns is 19 per cent, above July. The committee of the Labour party recommends the Government to take possession of wheat, paying 35s to 40s per quarter, and sell at the market price; if there is a surplus, pay the owners a bounty of 5 per cent, and use the balance in assisting the State revenue.
