MR BOTHA AND MR HERTZOG. PERSONAL DIFFERENCES. Pr«is Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CAPETOWN, August 29. A large meeting of the South African party was held at Fordsburg. Mr Viflser, chairman of Mr Hertzog's committee, suggested the creation of two branches, one Dutch and' the other English-speaking.
Dr Krause, premising that the leaders'difference was purely personal, remarked that although a personal friend of Mr Hertzqg he thought the latter anything but a good party man in refusing to abide by the decision of Congress. He concluded by declaring that Mr Botha was entitled to their whole-hearted support, and that the allegation that Mr 'Botha was pledged to the capitalists and was in league with the Unionists was all nonsense.
