CLEARING SALES.
The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association of New-Zealand report, having held a clearing sale of horses, cattle, sheep, farm implements, and sundries on account df the estate of tho late Mr James Gcddis, on tho farm near Palmerston, on Tuesday. There was a rather small attendance of the public, probablv on account of tho very wet weather. Draught geldings sold at up to £38. The cattle, sheep, implements, and sundries
brought good prices. The Otago Farmers' Co-operativo Association report having hold a very successful sale at Hayward's Point, on account of Mr M. Mickleson, on Thursday, when 20 draught and light horses. 200 sheep, 110 head of cattle, and a numbcr__of vehicles and farm implements were offered to a good gathering of buyers from the surrounding districts, and from Waitahuna, and the Taieri. Draught mares and fillies sold at from £27 to £32105; geldings, to £28; springcarters, from £20 10s to £23 10s. Dairy cows sold at from £4 15s to £7 7s 6d; heifers (spring ealvere), from £4 15s to £6 2s 6d. Sound mouth ewes, at 19s. The vehicles and implements brought good prices.
