Tho brokers for the New Zealand Sugar of. Milk and Casein Company (Messrs R. A. Mathowson and Quick and Smith) report tho registration of tho company with a capital of £25,000, divided into 25,000 shares of £1 each, of which 6000 havo been reserved for extension of business to other centres if thought advisable at any futuro time. Tho company will carry on operations at Edendale, where it holds options over the by-products of six large cheese factories for a period of- 28 years at a fixed price. The company expcct A s to bo in full operation by January, 1914, and its rofinorv, which is the first of its kind south of the line, will be equipped withthe. most modern machinery for the extraction of tho sugar of milk and casein.
