DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTH TAIUNAKI. (From Oun Own Correspondent.) WANGANUI, July 22. The big development of the cheese indwtr.y_ in South Taraimki is reflected i,n the operations of the Egniont Box Company. During the 12 months from July, 1912, to June, 1913 the company Manufactured 282,204 butter boxes and 219,005 cheese ■eases. This is_ a decrease of 28,414 butter Iwxea and an increase of 56,869 cheese cases on the preceding year's figures. With a view to st.ill further inducing farmers to go in for tho best milking strains, the Bgmont A. and P. Association bis decided to hold 'I dairy herd competition, to bo open to a-1' farmers with a herd of 25 cow? or over, the competition to commence on August 1, 1913, and finishing on May 30, 1914-
