DOMINION CONSTITUTION ADOPTED. |Pib Ukitid Pitssa Association.) CHRISTCHUROH, February 22. The adjourned conference of delegates from the provincial centres of tho ltoyal Life Saving Society was resumed to-day. The special comra|tte© appointed for the purpose presented the following draft of a constitution for the proposed central executive :— '• That this body bo termed the Dominion Executive of tho Royal Life Saving Society, and that it bo composed of «ix members, ono to bo elected by each head centre of tho Royal Lifo Saving Society in New Zealand, tho members to be elected biennially. " That it act as a distributing medium for all goods supplied by tho Royal Lifo Saving Society's headquarters, and all monies granted for general uso of tho society in the Dominion. "That it act as Parliamentary Commitlce to watch legislation affecting the interrete of the society j that it conduct propaganda work of the society throngljout the Dominion, and that it aet as umpire in cases of dispute between local headquarters, and generally undertake- all work which will not come into conflict with the present working of the local head centres. ''That this constitution shall not be altered except at an annual conference of the delegates, 10 dear weeks' notice of such alteration to bo given to each head centre, and that a two-thirds majority bo required to cany such alteration 'into effect." Tho constitution was adontcd. It was proposed that tho headquarters of tho central executive should bo in Chrwtchurch, and that a provisional executivo should be set up to draft by-laws for tho permanent executive. Tho 'suggestion was adopted, and tho following provisional executive was elected :—Messrs K. S. Bassctt. G. Billeon. D. J. Ager. F. A Hornibrook, J. A. Clarke, and W. Johnson.
