WELLINGTON INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.

(Pek Uhited Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 8. The Wellington Industrial Exhibition, suggested by the Industrial Association, is to be held at a later date than was originally proposed, as it is hoped that Parliament will meet before the exhibition opens and legalise the employment of assistants after 6 p.m. At to-night's meeting of the association it was resolved to open tho exhibition on July 27, and that it continue for one month. The present applications for space were reported to total 2837 square feet. Tho manager of the Wellington Gas Company wrote stating that as it had been decided to light the exhibition by electricity supplied from the city mains, the board considered the company had not received the consideration due to one of the largest industries of the district, and had determined not to take any part in the exhibition.
