TARANAKI OIL.
OFFER OF PURCHASE FROM LONDON. (Pes United Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, March 8. The directors of the Taranaki Petroleum Company have'received a cablegram from London asking them to place the company's boring rights, plant, etc., under offer. The local directors met last night, and decided to lay the matter before the full board on Friday. In any case the shareholders will be consulted before any negotiations are completed.
