Oil FUEL. Press Aasociation-By Tplcsrapb-CoppfgM LONDON, March 7. The Economist says: "It is evident that the Admiralty'is now convinced of : the superiority .of oil fuel for certain purposes. The difficulty is the necessity ■ of having to depend on foreigr sources.' The British Empire at (.resent produces only 8 per cent, of the world's petroleum, but Burmah, India, Borneo, Canada. Trinidad, and the Barbadoes QTe all capable of immense yields in future, while in Australia and 'New Zealand, if accounts are true, there is enough to keep GreatBritain fully supplied. Australasia, though too far away to bo an efficient supply for British industrial purposes, is just what is needed for maritime purposes. It is a'osolutely necessary • that we should be able to replenish all storage tank's frog sources under our control."
