flic quarterly meeting of tho Tuapeka wceiKing Committee was held at Naseby to-day, tho following members being pre-sent-Messrs E. W. Porritt, S.M. (chairF- Inder, Jas. Mitchell, and J. M Knight. • The following business was transacted:— Bryan Flannerv to D. J. Donnelly (Mr Davey), transfer of Blacks Hotel, Ophir— gnantod. Alexander il. Jordan to Mary Saehtler (Mr M'Neil), transfer of license of Kokonga Hotel—granted. James Walker to William Barr Allen (Mr M'Neil), transfer of license of George's Hotel, Naseby—granted. Daniel J. Donnelly (Mr Davey), conditional license for Vincent Jockey Club's races, Ist and 3rd January, hours 11 to 7— granted.
