(Pr.R TJIIITKD I'RT.SS ASSOCIATION.) HOKITIKA, December 7. A man named Herbert Jolly, 27 years of age, who was injured in a wrestling bout about a fortnight a.go, succumbed to his injuries to-day. The injury was caused by a pipe-stem entering his "eye, in which it was embedded an inch and a-half. The unfortunate man had the obstacle vemovjd the following day, but it was afterwards found necessary to remove the optic. Subsequently, brain troubles supervened, causing liis death. Two other men are connected with the affair. OAMARU. December 7.
