Williamson, of Sydnoy, re (he new theatre by-law enjoining tho numbering of seals iu licensed theatres coucm hall* o'.c: •' To tho of Chrieiclnireh: Ro theatre by-lav,-, suggest postponing of the numbering of scats, try limiting tho sale of tickets and ascertain the seating rapacity: The police can easily prevent, rushes by forming a. queue oulside the ticket boxes." The by-law will come up for confirmation at the meeting of council on .Monday night.
