The-Land Committee, after hearing Mr Malcolm in gUppoit. of tlie petitions, presented the following report to tho House to-day That in the opinion of tho committee those petitions are worthy of full inquiry, and the committee recommends that tliey 1»: submitted to the Government _ for favourable consideration where tho circumstances merit the same,"
