DUNEDIN CITY MISSION.

The monthly meeting of tho committee, held on Tuesday,- was attended by Messrs G. 51, Thomson (president); G. Roid, Peter Dick, John Blair. A.Haig, Johii A. D. Adams, K. Kosevcar (lion, treasurer), .Tas. H, Wilkinson, and D. Wright (missionary).

The following, offerings were reported, and all doners are" sincerely thanked:— Member of Committee, 10s; St. Leonards Presbyterian Sunday School, "ss; A Lady Helper, £5; Friends of the Mission, £8 6s 8d; ditto, for tho Children's Fund, £2; ditto, Good Samaritan Fund, £5; Albany street service, 15s 3d; attendance cards, 5s 6d;—total. £22 Es sd. It was reported that in consequence of sickness, and acting, on mcdical advice, tho missionary had; boon unable to go his rounds for nearly < a fortnight. Several duties had to stand over, and others wero discharged by kind helpers. L(tst week's .classes liad been attended as under: —Monday, 150; Tuesday, 120; "Wednesday, 190; -Thursday, 97; Fridav, 175. The number of sick visits, for the reason given above, was restricted, but, as usual, old .and feeble folk appreciated t-hem. Urgent cases of need'were as usual relieved. The gatherings on; Sunday. evening in Albany Street School- are well attended, tho order, is excellent, and the services are appreciated. Kind friends came forward and gave ready assistance when the missionary was laid aside. The services are reverent, homely, and quite unconvcntial. The calls for the-missionary's services in different churches, Sunday schools, and organisations still come in, and wherever fossible co-operation is cheerfully given quite apart "from denominational distinctions. ......
