The Trades and Labour Council last night passed a'rcsolution t-o the effect that the council views with considerable apprehension • ti?a ••unmitigated attacks now being made on Labour legislation through Mr Andrew Collins by tho concerted' action ot employers, assisted by the capitalistic press, in respect of that gonileman's official position as' representative of tho workers on the Conciliation Hoard. The council has every reason to, believe that such attacks «tro being made with the object of securing an amendment of the not in tho direction of prohibiting the ofliccre and members of unions, representing the workers, acting as incmbore of the Conciliation Board and tho Arbitration Court, and the council urges upon the democratic mcmljocs of Parliament the desirability of opposing nny such proposal. 1
