CULVERDEN TO HANMER
, MOTOR, CAR SERVICE. (Pen United Press Association.) . CHRISTOfIUROII, August 30. A satisfactory trial of one of the motor wirs. to bo used in the new service from •Ctilvordcn to Hanmer Springs took tilaco 'yesterday and to-day under the supervision of prominent ollicers of the Railway Department. Tho car carried a fuil load of passengers and liiggagb; and was tobn as far as the Uniau ferry— ;i distance of 19 mile? from Ciilverdcn.—which will be t.lic terminus of the new scrvirc until the smaller streams between tha.t point and tho Ilanmer township have been bridged.
