FATALITY AT MATAURA.

GORE, March 24. A young man named Arthur S. Humphries met with a fatal accident at Matiuua this morning. The horsce iii a drag which was proceeding''willi a party to Fortrose hallfid when crossing Ilie Mnliiura suspension bridge, and the drag colliding with the kerbing on ihe footpath, Humphries was thvown out, and Innded heavily on the footpath, sustaining injuries from which be died 20 minutes later. He was 25 years of ago.
