WOODHAUGH METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL.

The anniversary services in connection with the above school wore held yesterday. 11l tlio morning the Rev. A. Allen conducted (ho service, ami gave an impressive address to the children, taking for hie text Iho words, "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet" (Psalm cxix, vor.=o 105). Flo afterwards preached from Acte xxyT, verso 19: I; I was not disobedient unto I lie heavenly vision." In the. afternoon the service was concluded by the Kcv. O. 11. Laws, 8.A.. who delivcrod an interesting address on the subject cf "Fighting," in which lie referred to the great.heroes of Old Testament times. Tlio evening- service was conducted bv Sister Olive, who took her text, from Acts ii, verso 36, from which was delivered a very able and impressive discourse. The musical arrangements were in tlio capable hands of -Miss Lewisliam, the children rendering throughout the day special hymns, anthems, and notion song.--. Tlio church was prettily decorated, ami the congregations throughout ihe day were beyond all expectation;. To-morrow evciiitig the anniversary celebrations will bo continued in tlio form of o concert to be held in the church, commencing- at 7.30 p.m. Special action songs will l:e rendered by I lie children, who will be assisted by outside friends, and (lie. distribution of prizes to Iho scholar* will take place.
