SYDNEY, May 5.
(Received May 5, at 10.42 p.m., Tlio Under-secretary of the Queensl;. Department of Agriculture, who is one the delegates to the Commerce Conferenci in a letter to Mr Walsh (Controller of Cu: toms), points out that there are laws ii operation in Queensland which compel tlio purity .md' quality of meat and dairy produce intended for, export. He adds: "I am directed by my Minister to inform you that Queensland will not brook any interference, with the law, which it has taken years to build up nnd which has enabled Queensland merchants to secure a good footing in the European market."
