Tho monthly meeting of the Mornington School Comlnitleo was o Iteiidetl by Messrs Dickson (chairman), Seorgie, Ford, Simon, Karlaml, Vinson, anil Henderson (secretary). Correspondence ivas received from the Education Board and Momington Gymnastic Club. The revenue for (lie month was £21 2s 7d, and the expenditure £14 Bs. The Head Master reported that iho attendance for the first three 1 weoWii of the quarter was 407, 416. and 306. and the number on the roll 433. The attendance banner was won by Standard II twice and by Standard V once, inst week's percentages (although a broken one) were as follows: — Standard YH. 100: Standard YI, 92.1; Standard V. 94.8; Standard IY, 92.2; Standard 111, 91.G; Standard 11, 9G.8; Standard I, 95.2: infants, 79.1. The deposits in tilo school savings bank were £5 17s Gd, and tlio withdrawals £2 2s 3d. The date for the Christmas holidays was held over. Mr Yinsen (secretary for the minstrel entertainment.) handed the committco a cheque for £3 18s 2d. The following were appointed a sub-committee for the proposed basket party next month:—Messrs Dickson (chairman). Vinsen, Hope, Henderson, and Don. Henderson (secretory).
