CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR UNION
The eleventh animal Christian Endeavour Urion Convention was brought to a close with, a junior rally, held in Trinity Wesleyan Church Hall on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The arrangements for tho rally were in the capable hands of SisteTs Christobjl and Olive, who are to be congratulated- on the .success of the juEior rally, which will be long remembered as one of the best that has been held. The new president for tlie ensuing year (the Rev. T. E. Thomas, M.A.) presided. After the meeting had been opened in tho usual way the consecration roll-call of the various societies followed. After the Bible-reading and a few appropriate remarks by the president, the Rev. P. W. Fairclough delivered an able and instructive address, taking.for his subject "Coals of Fire." Hβ finished up by impressing upon the juniors the advantages to be gainedby an early surrender to God of their lives. Several items in the form of sobs, duets, recitatipris, etc., were given by members of the different soijieties. The meeting was brought to'a cloße with the benediction. • - - ■ ■
