AUCKLAND, March-3. The Arbitration Court to-day dealt with alleged breaches of awards. John Patterson, a cart'T, was fined £3, and £2 2s for employing a carter under tho wage fixed by tho award. John Peach, for employing carters under the wago awarded, wa.s fined £12 13s, and £2 23 costs. John Macpherson, for employing an apprentice plumber at loss than the wage awarded for apprentices, was fined £2, and £2 2s costs. M'Connell, for a broaoli of the tailors' award, was fined 40s. and co-its; and F. Morgan, for a breach of the tailors' award, oosts only (£1 10s). Tlio court pave its -decision, in the case against the Colonial Sugar Company respecting carpenters' wages, holding that two mon employed about the sugar refinery to do carpenters' work did not como under the award.
