CRIMINAL SITTINGS.
(Pee UsiTsn Pusss Association.) INVERCARGILL, March 3. The Supreme Court sittings opened this morning before Mr Justice Williams. The calendar oompritws eight charges against six accused, the most serious being that against Dr Fullarton of performing an illegal operation. True hills were returned in all the cases. James Bice was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment for robbing an old man from tlio country of a small sum of money.
