(Received March 2, at 8.50 a.m.) The gale has moderated, though tho list of the late losses is still incomplete. Great damage was caused in the Isle of Man. Houses and churches wore wrecked, particularly All Saints' Church, at Peoltown, whero a memorial window was blown in. where a memorial window wero lifted, falling within tho church. T!io steamer Lucaiiia'was u'nablo to land her passengers,. numbering 100, for Queenstown, and brought them on to Liverpool. FURTHER DETAILS. LONDON, March 2. (Received March 2, at 9.49 p.m.) Fresh squalls are being encountered on tl'.o western coasts of Great Britain. An unknown barque, after, showing distress signals, struck the rocks <m tho north-west coast of Cornwall. Ten more bodies have been recovered from tho collier. Otterscap, which wai wrecked off Finirterrc, making a total of 17 bodies washed ashore. A succession of hurricanes in the Atlantic have compelled many battered steamers to return to Queenstown. Numbers of seamen have been injured. . Tho steamer Etniria, grounded outside the harbour, and-when re-floatcd returned to New York, her machinery being disabled. ' The barque Lnclstock, which started for Brisbane, had suffered badly when she arrived in Queenstown. LONDON, March 2. (Received March 3, at 1.3 a.m.) The Resolution steamed from Holyhead to Plymouth in the teeth of the gale. Her rudder, weighing 12 tons, was wrenched away and lout. Tho fact was only discovered on reaching Plymouth. The vessel was for hours helpless in a trough sea. The battleship'/ Colliugwood reached Plymouth leaking, with 300 tons of water in her hold.
