In accordance with the resolution adopted at the conference of delegates from various districts which met on Saturday in Suva to discuss the question of replacing the nominative element in tho State Legislature by an elective element, a deputation waited.. on the Governor to-day to propose the adoption of a purely elective Legislature. The Governor promised to support the request. .
