THE ANTHRAX OUTBREAK.
*— ~ .. (Per United Press Association'.) WELLINGTON, July 11. The Health Department has' been informed of tho outbreak/of, anthrax in the North of Auckland. The disease appears to have originated from the. importation of' infected manure not properly sterilised.' The cattle bocamo affected by tho manure, and passed on tho disease to the men .working among them. Several cases are esrious. The department is taking all necessary steps.
