H For tho quarter onded Juno 30:— 1902 325 ... 171 ... 128' ' 1901 ... ... 315 ... 142 ... 155 For the half-year ended Juno 30:— 1902 640 ...' 331 ... 279 ' 1901 ....... 690 ... 289 ... 293 It will bo seen by tho abovo that the births and marriages both show a decrease, while there baa been a considerable increase in the debits. .
